Modular Cat Litter Mat for Litter Box Exits - Double-Layer Litter Trap for Cleaner Floors

Catch Litter Before It Spreads

Tired of finding loose cat litter across the bathroom, hallway, or living room? This modular double-layer cat litter matcreates a cleaner exit area directly outside the litter box.

As your cat steps across the rigid top grid, loose pellets and granules can fall through the openings into the lower collection tray. The litter stays contained underneath instead of being tracked farther across your floors.

When it is time to clean, simply lift the removable grid, collect the litter from the lower tray, and pour suitable clean litter back into the box.

Why Cat Owners Love It

Helps Reduce Litter Tracking

Place the mat directly in front of the litter box exit so your cat naturally steps across the grid. Loose litter is captured before it travels into other rooms.

Double-Layer Collection System

The upper grid separates loose litter from your cat's paws while the solid lower tray stores collected granules underneath. This keeps the captured litter away from paws until cleanup time.

Pour Back Usable Litter

Instead of immediately throwing collected litter away, remove the upper grid and pour suitable clean litter back into the litter box. It is a simple way to reduce unnecessary litter waste.

Modular Snap-Fit Design

One mat provides a compact landing area for a standard litter box setup. For wider boxes, active cats, or multi-cat homes, connect multiple mats to create a larger litter-catching zone.

Detachable and Washable

The top grid separates from the collection tray for easier cleaning. Empty loose litter first, then rinse both layers with water and allow them to dry completely before placing the mat back into use.

Rigid PP Construction

Unlike soft mats that may fold, curl, or bunch up, the sturdy PP frame maintains a flat shape around the litter box. The raised outer edge also helps keep collected litter inside the tray.

How It Works

1. Place it at the litter box exit:Position the mat where your cat normally steps out.
2. Loose litter falls through:Granules pass through the upper grid and collect in the lower tray.
3. Empty and clean:Separate the layers, pour out collected litter, and rinse when necessary.

FAQ

Will this completely stop all litter tracking?

No litter mat can prevent every granule from leaving the litter box. This design helps reduce tracking by creating a structured area where loose litter can fall away from your cat's paws.

Can multiple mats be connected?

Yes. The modular edges allow compatible mats to be connected for a wider coverage area. This is useful for larger litter boxes and multi-cat households.

Can I pour the collected litter back into the box?

Suitable clean and dry litter can be returned to the litter box. Always discard litter that is wet, soiled, or mixed with debris.

Does it work with every type of cat litter?

It is designed for many common pellet and granular litter types. Performance may vary with extremely fine litter. The approximate grid opening is 0.5 x 0.2 in.

Is the mat soft or flexible?

No. This is a rigid PP tray-style mat designed to remain flat around the litter box. It is different from soft foam, fabric, or folding litter mats.

Can the entire mat be washed?

Yes. Separate the upper grid from the lower tray, rinse both pieces, and let them dry completely before reassembling.
